Just to give you all a nice “table of contents” of how many different topics I love to learn about! I always thought people who started a specific blog (such as a parenting blog) had to know enough information before they can share it. But turns out I don’t have to be an expert to enjoy certain topics and learn about them and share what I can! As long as readers don’t actually consider me an expert just because it’s typed up and on the internet. 🙂
- Balance in Life: body, soul, spirit
- Emotional Intelligence: controlling and expressing emotions. Main elements are self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, social skills.
- Fun Kid Ideas: crafts, jokes, riddles, activities
- Grace: a spiritual gift that involves love and mercy given to others even when we feel that they don’t deserve it.
- Growth Mindset: believing that success depends on time and effort, skills and intelligence can be improved with effort and persistence. Embrace challenges, persist through obstacles, learn from criticism, be inspired by other people’s success.
- Importance of Play: learn to relax and have fun, allow kids to be kids without forcing them to grow up too quickly
- Learning Styles: we don’t all learn the same, some styles are more effective than others in getting a message across
- Motivation: quotes or inspirational words. Intrinsic vs extrinsic
- Parenting: specifically purposeful/nurturing parenting, which means caring for and encouraging the growth or development of a child
- Prayers: passionate about having a relationship with God
- Printables: cute and/or educational and/or useful things to print out
- Psychology: the study of the human mind and its functions
- Self-awareness: conscious knowledge of one’s own character, feelings, motives, and desires
- Sharing Stories (or links or videos): we can learn lots from others
